The Best Exercise To Lose Weight – Cardio Training

The Best Exercise To Lose Weight – Cardio Training

Article by John Philbrook

The best exercise to lose weight is cardio training in my opinion. It’s justly the giant of fitness because of its versatility. Cardiovascular exercise needs little or no equipment, it may be completed any time of your day in any place on the planet, and it guarantees results to tailor whichever dieting endeavors you could have. Cardiovascular activity may be broken down into a number of differing kinds, all standing on its own for fat loss. I’ll concentrate on just three for today’s reasons.

Walking – Fantastic For Novices And Starting Any New Dieting Practice

Walking is the best exercise to lose weight for all folks that have a low fitness level and are just beginning, or just implementing exercise subsequent to years of abstinence. The convenience of walking helps build inspiration and energy while using up calories at an actual modest rate. One of my preferred aspects of walking is the way it begins to affect your total daily routine. Whenever you take time out of your day, every day, to walk, it’s going to become a normal daily practice. Before you know it, you’ve clearly made a serious difference to your life for the better, and it’s a permanent time slot ready to be filled with other exercises as your fitness level increases.

Jogging – The Next Move To Better Fitness Levels

Jogging is the best exercise to lose weight in case your fitness level is a little higher. It’s the most common progression from walking and generally considered the staple exercise of cardio. The best thing is; all it requires is a good pair of tennis shoes and you are off to the races. Jogging may cause some off-putting consequences that you must keep in mind. It is awfully hard on the body. Monitor your joint health and blood pressure every day. Knees are often the most affected area of joint pain and sudden stops while jogging can cause spikes in blood pressure. You should definitely walk a couple of minutes after every run to avoid this.

Bicycling – A Terrific Alternative To Running

Bicycling is the best exercise to lose weight for all of us who detest jogging or who have bad knees. It can be much easier on the body, and outdoors you can actually traverse much greater distances. This makes the exercise much more pleasurable and scenic. Fortunately, today you can buy a bicycle priced to fit every budget. If you live overseas or in a big city you probably see people pedaling their way to better wellbeing everyday rather than driving a car.

The Best Exercises to Lose Inches

The Best Exercises to Lose Inches

Article by Jen Jolan

Here are some of the best exercises to lose inches from all over your stubborn female fat zones. If you’re stuck in a rut doing the same ol’ exercises as everyone else… jogging on a treadmill, using the stairstepper, and cranking away on the stationary bike… this article will be refreshing for you because I’m going to show you some better, more convenient exercises that get superior results for fat loss.

Best Exercises to Lose Inches

1. Water Jug Swings

Use a gallon jug for these. If you don’t drink milk, get a gallon of water and use that instead. Now what you do is stand where you have a little bit of space. Grab the handle of the jug with both hands. Spread your legs apart. Now, with your back straight swing the jug down between and through your legs while bending over and then swing it back up so that it’s directly over your head while standing straight up. DON’T HUNCH OVER at all during this movement.

Keep repeating that for 1 minute non-stop. The gallon of water/milk weighs 8 pounds when it’s full. Using it in this movement is great for weight loss. It’s a simple motion, but this exercise is tough. You’ll be rewarded greatly because your body responds with some quick results due to this exercise.

Rest 30 seconds and repeat for a total of 5 sets. Do this 3 times a week.

2. Jumping jacks or jumping rope

Ideally, I’d like for you to “jump sets” in which you do 1 set of water jug swings for a minute, then rest 30 seconds, then do 1 minute of jumping jacks or jumping rope… and keep repeating like that until you’ve done 5 minutes of each exercise.

The fat burning effect of these combined is nothing short of amazing. I know these exercises are different from the gym exercises, but don’t discount them. If you want to still do the gym exercises, go for it. But there will be times you can’t get to the gym. When that happens consider these because they are 2 of the best exercises to lose inches from all over your body with that require about 5 minutes of your time for each.

Figuring Out Which Is The Best Exercises To Lose Weight Isn’t Always Fun

Figuring Out Which Is The Best Exercises To Lose Weight Isn’t Always Fun

Article by Ben Pate

Nowadays it seems that we have less time and less energy to do the things we need to do to keep ourselves from gradually gaining weight and losing health. Because our too-fast and too-busy society is causing us to turn to fast food in many instances, we seemed to be putting on weight in higher numbers than ever. Exercises to lose weight, simply the best possible choice, should be taking on a high priority.

Medical research has shown that obesity is the leading cause of type II diabetes, which is more familiarly known as sugar diabetes. What many people may not know is that this form of diabetes is completely preventable and may even be able to be reversed through a solid program of diet and exercise. And in this case performing a few reasonably easy exercises can aid in real weight loss.

What, then, are effective exercises when it comes to reducing weight? First, take a deep breath and realize that weight didn’t appear overnight and it’s not going to come off simply by wishing it were so. Now you’ve taken the first step to success. The best exercises that can help when it comes to weight reduction incorporate two elements – cardiovascular work and muscle building or weight bearing work.

What this means is that one is going to need to do certain exercises that raise or elevate heart rate over a predefined period of time and that these exercises will need to be done on a consistent basis and with proper form. This doesn’t mean that one is going to be engaging in military-style boot camp exercising, because that isn’t needed at all. Rather for the greatest success consistency would be more crucial.

Exercises that are effective at elevating the heart rate might be things like light walking, but with a purposeful stride. This doesn’t mean that the walking should be treated as an Olympic sport, but rather that it should be focused on moving forward at a nice pace. Equally important is that one doesn’t reward one’s self at the end by going to the fast food restaurant and ordering a big chocolate shake.

Another good form of exercise that can aid in weight reduction is some sort of stair climbing activity that also continues at a measured pace. This definitely doesn’t mean it should be some sort of stair race with the person on the stair-climbing machine or other exercise machine next to you. Studies show that people tend to drop fitness programs in less than two weeks when the program is too hard.

As far as weight-bearing exercises go, many exercise physiologists and other health professionals will tell you that even a few minutes of light weight training or some sort of physical activity that involves moving weight about can greatly increase the body’s metabolism over longer periods of time. This means the body will burn more calories, which means weight will quickly disappear.

About the Author

Exercises to lose weight come in two types; those that involve a slight amount of cardiovascular exercise that elevates the heart rate, even if it is only for a few minutes, and other exercises that are more weight bearing in nature such as weight training or a combination. Stair climbing, can accomplish both for significant fat loss.

Best Exercise to Lose Weight?

Best Exercise to Lose Weight?

Exercise along with diet are two of the key elements when it comes to weight loss, but what is the best exercise to lose weight? That’s a rather hard question to answer, as there are lots of variables that would come into play. Some exercise might require a lot of technical knowledge (Olympic lifts for example) and the results of others could differ from person to person. Best is a subjective word. However, if we define best as in the most calories burned in the least amount of time spent, then there is no doubt in my mind that the best exercise is – tabata exercise.

What’s tabata exercise? It was the name of a scientist who did the research on the subject of if doing exercise at high intensity with short break in between would give a better results than spending that time doing the same exercise at a medium intensity, or something along those lines. Tabata is method where you do exercise at high intensity have a short rest, then do it again. Doing exercise at high intensity results in much more calories burned compared to medium or low intensity if the time is the same. It also stimulates muscle development a lot more.

Almost any exercise can be done in a tabata style. Some of the popular ones are squats and push ups – as neither requires any equipment or much knowledge to do and can be done anywhere. So for example for tabata push ups, you would do as many push ups as you can in 20 seconds, then rest for 10 seconds, then do another 20 seconds worth, then rest etc etc. You would do 8 series of 20 seconds of push ups with 10 seconds in between. The goal being to do as many push ups total as you can.

Best part about this? The example above only takes 5 minutes to complete and will leave someone more tired (and burn more calories) than most people’s regular hour long work out. Combine it with the fact that it let’s you to turn boring exercise into fun, and allows you to set mini goals to achieve to keep you focused on the program. And it comes as no surprise that tabata exercise are some of if not the best exercise to lose weight, especially if you are short on time.

The Ultimate Best Exercise To Jump Higher ? But What?s Even Better?

The Ultimate Best Exercise To Jump Higher ? But What?s Even Better?

In the past, squat jumps, depth jumps, maximum height jumps and power cleans have all vied for the title of the best exercise to jump higher.

Experts now know that increasing your vertical isn’t all about just finding the best and dumping the rest.  At the same time a successful jumping program thrives beyond just a myriad of exercises.  It should organize them in a concise, well-laid out manner aimed at one important thing: turning you into a dunking demon.

In this article, we’ll discuss four essential traits that spice up every jumping program in order to get you that optimal vert.

1) The program should be comprehensive yet simple.  It’s great to be fed the farm, but only if it’s easy to swallow.  It’s not uncommon to get your hands on a program that delivers the goods, but haphazardly.  The program should easily tell you where to start and what you need to do next, etc. in a simple, step-by-step fashion.

2) The program should also not be limited to two exercises or even one claimed to be the best exercise to jump higher.  Not only are there many muscles that play a role in jumping (both lower and upper body muscles), but there are many phases in the jump itself to be trained with exercises that target each phase. These phases include:

]]>

- Starting – before you move
- Acceleration – moving up progressively
- Release – air time and height from the moment of takeoff to landing
- landing/ deceleration – what good is a 50-inch vertical if you can’t land?
- Repeat – how well and how fast can you spontaneously repeat the process?

3) The program should not involve extraneous stuff.  Extraneous methods consist of:
- most plyometrics.  The only plyometric exercises that will pack the punch are ones performed at near maximum effort
- non-power exercises such as endurance exercises. Sets of 50 toe-raises will kill your quest to jump like Jordan.   This is so not the best exercise to jump higher.  These exercises train the wrong system and muscle fibers to make those explosive movements.

4) There needs to be focus on factors outside of exercise.  After all, a successful program should be holistic.  So other than weight lifting and jumping around in the gym include the following in your plan: nutrition and diet, proper oxygen metabolism, flexibility, positive thinking and proper rest.  You can at best exercise to jump higher with these principles.  In fact, applying them properly for 15 weeks without exercising could alone result in a 6-inch increase on your vertical.

To summarize, finding the best exercise to jump higher is not as embraced as a well-organized program with many exercises.  Each exercise should be matched with each phase of the jump.  Extraneous stuff needs to go, as this will eat up your jumping gains.  Finally, an exercise program is not complete without non-exercise components soaring your program into overdrive.

According to the experts, not much.

As with any fitness goal, you can’t just work your abs like the rest of your body doesn’t exist. That’s what many ab workout machines do, and that’s why they fail. If you want to work your abs, you need a comprehensive whole body fitness plan.

Things to eat: tofu; brown rice; vegetables; fruits; water.

The importance of whole grains cannot be stressed enough. At all costs, avoid processed grains like white bread.

Things to avoid: soda; beer; candy; dairy; junk food.

Diet alone is also not enough. To build muscle and increase your metabolism, you should workout three times a week for about an hour each day.

Swimming, jogging, walking, and yoga are all good cardio workouts. If you don’t know how to get started, there are plenty of high quality workout DVDs available. No matter what your taste is, from aerobics and classic rock to yoga and classical music, you can find a workout video for you.

If you can’t do it at first, try it with tour hands across yor chest, instead. Hold the position for about 2 seconds. Remember to keep breathing steadily throughout your workout.

Perform this abdominal exercise five times per week, for about ten minutes a day.

Also, remember to eat right and drink plenty of water.

That’s all you need to get started. So get going and good luck.

How to Uncover the Best Exercises For Abs

How to Uncover the Best Exercises For Abs

Are you confused and frustrated at all of the contradictory information about the best exercises for abs?  You may be wondering what you can do about it.  The first thing you can do is find out how to come to a decision for yourself whether an exercise should be categorised as one of the best exercises for abs.  By the time you finish reading this article, I will have revealed for you a litmus test that you can use to establish the best exercises for abs.  You will be able to straight away apply your newly discovered secret to construct your own abdominal exercise workout.

Now, the abdominal muscles carry out a specific job.  Once you discover the way the abdominal muscles truly work, you will be able to conclude for yourself the best exercises for abs.  Find a way to train as many of the roles of the abdominal muscles and you will uncover the best exercises for abs.

They work like this.  By stabilizing the trunk and spine, the abdominal muscles form a strong foundation for the the legs and arms to move.   A standing chest press is a good example of an exercise that requires the abdominals to stabilize the spine while pressing forward with the upper body.

What else?  Stabilization also helps to prevent movement of the trunk.  One example of an exercise that trains stabilization is the plank.  Strong abdominals help to prevent hyperextension of the back when in the plank position.

Now wait…there’s more.  In addition to stabilization, the abdominals also, limit, prevent or slow down rotation of the spine.  Any motion involving rotation can be used to train this particular abdominal movement.  The landmine exercise is effective for training rotation.  Moving the barbell side to side creates a torque on the trunk that must be controlled by the abdominal muscles.

Even some of the best personal trainers forget about this one.  Abdominal muscles prevent hyperextension of the spine.  Sure, they also flex the spine but, it is not that difficult to flex the spine when you are standing.  In fact, it takes more effort to prevent flexion of the spine when you are standing or sitting than it does to flex it.  Think about it, doesn’t gravity assist you if you just relax?  Nobody ever tells you to slump forward.  They always tell us to sit up straight which is the opposite of flexion.  This is why I am not a big fan of crunches and other exercises you do while on your back.

So think about this.  It requires a lot of effort from your abdominals to lean backward with a light weight overhead.  If you are not strong enough you either fall backwards or hurt your back.  To train this aspect of the abdominals, stand a foot’s length away from the wall and with your hands overhead reach back and touch the wall.  Adding a rotation at the same time will increase the difficulty and effectiveness of the exercise.

Understanding how the abdominal muscles function will help you to create your own movements and exercises for the best exercises for abs.

Finding the best exercises for abs doesn’t have to be complicated if you follow the criteria I give you in this article.  For more information on the best exercises for abs and to get FREE instant access to our 10 day Interval Training Secrets Mini Course go to http://www.IntervalTrainingGuide.com?tid=ab304 now.

You may not understand these terms right now but trust me they are all very important when it comes to increasing your vertical.

No matter what your goals are:

If you are a playground baller looking to dominate the playground with a massive vertical.

If you are on your high school team, or trying to make your high school team and want to increase your vertical to attract the attention of college scouts.

Doing these exercises in the proper form is critical. 5 correct form exercises are more effective than 20 incorrect form exercises.
Do each exercise as explosive as possible, your body needs to know that you are trying to get higher.

1. EXERCISE – BURNOUTS

This is the first of the best exercises to jump higher and it focuses on developing your calf muscles, particularly the upper section of your calves to give you explosive gains on your leap.

Stand with your arms at your sides and with your feet shoulder width apart.
Raise up onto your tip toes as high as possible, enough to feel your calf muscle being worked.
Hop 3 to 4 inches in the air
After landing hop right back up keeping it continuous, after about 6 or 7 jumps you should know why this exercise is called burnouts(in other words you should really feel your calves being worked)
Each jump is 1 rep, do 25 reps in 3 sets

2. EXERCISE – STEP UPS

This is the 2nd of the best exercises to jump higher. Step ups focus on developing the jumping power that you use to jump off of 1 leg.

You are going to need a sturdy chair, bench, or anything you can thrust yourself up into the air with the force of 1 leg as high as possible.
Stand in front of the chair, bench, or stool with your right leg placed on it. Your right leg should be almost at a 90 degree angle and your left leg should be resting on the ground.
Thrust yourself up into the air using only your right leg as high as possible.
In mid air switch legs and land with your left leg on the chair and right leg landing on the ground.
Do the same with your left leg as you did with your right leg.
After each leg is done that is 1 rep, do 25 reps in 3 sets

3. EXERCISE – SQUAT HOPS

Squat Hops are the last of the best exercises to jump higher. This exercise will focus on developing and working the muscles that you use to jump off of 2 legs and perform those monster 2 handed dunks that you will doing very soon.

Get into a low squat position while keeping your back straight.
While in the low squat position raise up onto your tip toes as if you are almost sitting down.
Jump 3 to 4 inches in the air and keep it continuous after.
Each jump is 1 rep, do 25 reps in 3 sets.

The Best Exercise to Lose Weight Fast – Lose 10 Pounds Quickly!

The Best Exercise to Lose Weight Fast – Lose 10 Pounds Quickly!

Article by Jen Jolan

Here’s the best exercise to lose weight fast with. You can lose 10 pounds quickly with just this. But, I’m going to also give you a bonus exercise works awesome for losing inches from your waist as well. Combined, these 2 exercises will help to transform your body in a short amount of time.

Best Exercise to Lose Weight – 15 Degree Incline Walking

Now, walking isn’t just walking. Overall, normal walking is fine for long term weight loss. But I’m sure you want to lose weight quickly. For that, you need to walk uphill.

I’m sure you’ve walked up a hill before. Isn’t it a lot different than just walking on a flat surface?

It is.

So just make that adjustment. Obviously, if you don’t have a hill you’ll need to find a treadmill. Hopefully that isn’t a problem for you. I prefer a treadmill just because I don’t have to worry about cold or rainy weather.

Anyway, that’s essentially it. Walking uphill. A 15 degree incline works best. It’s steep enough to make a difference, but not so steep that it’s unbelievably hard.

How long to walk? I suggest 20 minutes at least 5 days a week.

Now, if you were to tell me you’re really busy and can’t spare 100 minutes of your time then my question to you is… there’s 168 hours in a week… you can’t spare just 1.5 of those hours to devote to your health? That’s not even 1% of your time.

You really need to change your priorities if you think that little of your own health. Remember, to enjoy all those other things in your life you need decent health. So without health, you have nothing.

Bonus Exercise – Vacuum Pose

If you have problems with belly fat, this is the best exercise you can do. Essentially, all you do is suck in your lower belly and hold for 5, 10, 20 seconds at a time. That’s it.

How good does it work? You’ll lose 1.5-2 inches from your belly in a month. That’s just doing it for 5 minutes a day.

So back to incline walking. If you want to lose 10 pounds quickly, that’s what you need to do. It’s the best exercise to lose weight with.
