The jack knife is a simple move that you can do while watching your favorite show.  Lie on your back with your arms extended over your head.  Use an exercise mat if you have one to avoid back pain.  Point your toes out and bring your arms and legs up to from a V shape.  Your shoulders should lift off of the ground.  Hold there for a moment and slowly return to the starting position.  Exhale while forming the V and inhale when returning to the starting position.

This ab work out should be done in a slow and controlled motion.  Remember to breathe and you will feel the burn in the morning.  Do the jack knife 10-15 times for 2-3 reps.

The Bicycle

The bicycle is a fun move to add to your ab work out. 
Lie on your back with your fingertips behind your ears.  Don’t let your arms or neck do the work on this move.  Not only are you cheating your core, but you are straining your neck. 

Crunch your body up and bring your knees slightly into your chest.  Bring your left elbow to meet your right knee while extending out your left leg.  Slowly return to the starting position and repeat the motion bringing your right elbow to your left knee while extending your right leg. 

Do the bicycle 10-15 times for 2-3 reps. 

The Plank

Lie on your stomach using an exercise mat if you have one.  Get on your toes as if you were about to do a push up and rest your upper body on you forearms.  Your forearms should be under your shoulders.  Bring your naval in towards your spine and hold this position for as long as you can, try for at least 30 seconds.  Lower your body down for recovery and then repeat the process 7-10 times. 

Your ab work out should be done every other day to give your core a rest.  You want your ab muscles to heal and build from all of your work. 

Adding these simple moves to your daily routine along with cardio and a good diet will get six pack abs.
