Krav maga ignores fancy cartwheels and flash turns in favour of quick, effective moves that include defences against armed opponents – and was the basis for Batman and Bourne’s fighting styles in their most recent movie outings. It’s also the fighting style used by Sam Fisher in the upcoming videogame Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction (out on the 16th of April).
