If you are trying to gain weight, you will have to eat more than what you normally eat. Again, everybody has a different body so try to test some calorie amounts until you get it right. Try to eat 5-6 meals a day and make sure each meal has a ton of protein, carbs, and some fat. There are tons of different diets out there but if you are a newbie, I would try a 50% carb, 35 % protein, 15 % fat split.Your Pre-workout meal should contain plenty of carbs, proteins, and fats. Your post-workout meal/shake should also contain carbs, proteins, and fats. Most people only drink a protein shake and don’t realize that your body is craving carbs directly after workout. Try to eat within 30 minutes to an hour after you workout.Supplementation
Everybody wants to know what the “best” supplements are. Remember this, supplements are there to “supplement” your diet or your workout routine. You cannot rely on supplements alone to do the trick. If you really want to build muscle, you have to work hard.We compiled a list of 3 popular supplements that most people love. Remember, that we are not doctors and the information we give are for informative purposes only. You should seek your doctor for a medical consultation before taking any kind of supplementation.
Protein – Our best choice of protein is ON (optimum nutrition). Optimum Nutrition is a bit more expensive compared to other brands such as Scivation and Gold Standard but ON tastes 10 times better. You can get these directly from our store which is powered by Amazon.com or you can get it directly from Amazon by clicking the link to the left. From checking the prices of DPSnutrition and Bodybuilding.com, our store is cheaper ( much cheaper than Bodybuilding.com and only 1 dollar cheaper than DPSnutrition but there is free shipping from Amazon).
No-xplode – It is creatine mixed with nitric oxide and caffeine. If you get this, try to work out a bit earlier because this might keep you up all night. The feeling you get from this stuff is amazing. The effects are different for different people but when we tested it, we felt amazing. It gives you this pump where you feel like you can lift almost anything. Again, you can get this at our store.
Xtend – After you work out, your muscles are torn and having extra BCAA’s will help you recuperate faster. Have you been on the bodybuilder forums and the forum members talk about getting glutamine as a supplement? Well Xtend contains Glutamine, Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine and other ingredients. It also tastes great!Incorporating This Routine
