Okay! Your new baby is here and all is well. Or is it? You just spent nine months carrying your new child and have given birth. Some time has passed by and you see a new person in the mirror. Before pregnancy you were looking great because you were thin and appealing. Now you look fat and have a big tummy. You want to look good in a bikini, get fit fast and lose the pregnancy weight. But how?

You have a ton of questions. Hoe long to lose the weight I gained?

When can I start to exercise again?

What exercises can I do after pregnancy?

Can I get rid of those unsightly stretch marks?

Well there is a way to have a positive result to all those questions. You can lose the pregnancy weight and do it quickly.

You need to wait an appropriate time after giving birth before exercising depending on your specific situation. If you were healthy before you were pregnant and were exercising already, and had a perfect healthy delivery you can start to exercise right away after childbirth.

If you had some problems and needed a suzerain you might need to wait up to 2 months before exercising. Ask your doctor when it is alright to exercise again.

You will get fit fast and before you know it you will again look good in a bikini. Just look at those movie stars that have babies and are back looking like themselves in no time.

They are all exercising all the time, even before getting pregnant and so for them starting again after giving birth is not a problem especially if they had a birth with no complications.

To lose the pregnancy weight really is not that hard to do. You need to start as soon as possible and start with doing light and easy exercises and working up to harder and more strenuous workouts.

All women want the confidence of looking good in a bikini and getting all those admiring glances. This look is a goal you can achieve. You can do exercises at home just using a few pieces of equipment like an exercise bench, a workout mat and some dumbbells.

You can lose the weight you gained fairly quickly by not just exercising, but combining workouts with the proper eating habits that will give you energy, boost your metabolism and help you to lose weight.

Try taking your baby for a walk pushing a stroller and making sure you are walking at a brisk pace with maybe a few hills mixed in.

A mother tot swim class is great for both you and the baby as you get to exercise and get fit fast while your baby is getting used to water, new surroundings and people all at the same time.

You need a program and workout regime that’s easy for you to follow. You only need three workouts per week about 1 hour in length to meet your goals of getting fit fast, losing the pregnancy weight and looking good in a bikini.

Why go to a gym and spend big time bucks for training or memberships when you can accomplish all your goals in an at home workout especially designed for you.

Both you and your baby will benefit from an at home workout, as you will still be with your newborn taking care of it, nurturing it, loving it. You’ll be achieving your own goals of losing weight. getting fit and looking good in a bikini.

You can look like the person you were before you were pregnant. You were hot, sexy and had that sleek trim toned boby your husband loved. Just tell yourself to do it.

Spring break Bikini Tip #1: Prepare

Spring break is right around the corner, so you need to be prepared to give this weight loss plan your all. The best way to accomplish this is to get yourself motivated.

You need to prepare yourself for the hard work and dedication it is going to take. You need to visually picture the body you want and keep that vision implanted in your head throughout this program. A big part of loosing weight is mental which is why its important to mentally be prepared when you begin a weight loss program.

Spring break Bikini Tip #2: Buddy Power

Loosing weight is hard and it is difficult to stay motivated which why having a weight loss buddy can be beneficial. Find a friend that has similar weight loss goals. Together you can motivate each other and work together to get ready for Spring break.

Spring break Bikini Tip #3: Say Good Bye to Junk Food

Now that you’ve found your motivation, it’s time to focus your mind on eating healthy. Eating healthy in college is not easy.

College is king of junk food and unhealthy food which makes this one of the most difficult parts of this plan. However to succeed in weight loss it is one of the most important. You need to learn what are healthy food choices and to stick with them. Convincing yourself that the celery stick you’re eating is ten times better than some greasy French fry will not be easy but just keep envisioning yourself in your bikini and it will make those decisions easier.

To help keep the junk food cravings under control it is important to plan your meals and snacks. By doing this you won’t be left hungry and eating the first thing you see. You can bring healthy snacks with you to class and a bottle of water which will satisfy your hunger.

Spring break Bikini Tip #4: No Beer Belly

College is also King of Beer and parties. As your friends are downing beer by the gallons, remind yourself that beer is laden with calories your body doesn’t need. Save the beer guzzling for your spring break parties. If you are out partying and want to drink try a diet soda with vodka or rum(my favorite is diet coke and rum). This has much less calories but still allows you to be social.

Do not give in to your cravings for junk food. Ask yourself before putting that garbage into your mouth, “Is this food more important than looking great for spring break?

Keep a supply of healthy foods available so temptation won’t get the best of you. Make sure the healthy foods you stock are easy to prepare (or, better yet, pre-prepared for you) and taste good if you want to realistically fight off those junk food temptations.

Spring break Bikini Tip #5: Couch Potato, time is Over

The last step in Spring break weight loss is exercising. I know those are dreaded words but words we must follow.

There are many different ways in which you can incorporate exercise into your daily routine. Most colleges have a gym that is free for students to use. If you are not familiar with the equipment in the gym or what type of workout to follow ask a trainer or someone that works at the gym. They tend to be knowledgeable and can help you out.

If the gym is not for you another option is to get outside. You can go for a walk, rollerblading, hiking anything that gets your heart rate up is good.

If you don’t want to leave your dorm room the last option is working out in your room. There are a million workout DVDs that you can purchase which you can do right from the comfort of your room. You can also download workouts onto your Ipod and do them as well.

The options are endless for working out. Pick and option, try something new, get off the couch.

Remember it takes hard work to be that look smoking hot girl walking down the beach but there is no reason why that can’t be you. Follow the weight loss tips provided above so that all eyes will be on you and your sexy body as you grace the beaches, clubs, and parties.

Top Tips On How to Achieve the Perfect Bikini Body for The Summer

It may be a freezing ice cold winter, and the last thing on our mind is preparing for the summer season, but in reality now is the time to start thinking and making preparations to achieve a great bikini body ready for summer. This is not just a matter of us shedding those excess pounds, it is making our body as lean, toned and trim as possible to look really good and feel confident in a bikini.

The five most effective steps we can start now are:

1) Eat healthy

Firstly we should ditch the junk food, not only are they high in calories, but also high in fat, sugar and sodium, which have so many detrimental effects on our bodies, both internally and externally. A poor diet provides our body with very little energy, can promote water retention, and also create hormonal and chemical imbalance. It can also raise our bloods sugar levels, slow down our metabolism and due to the poor nutritional value of the food we eat, we will find that we are constantly hungry. To achieve a new sleek physique, we have to give up the junk food for optimum results.

To get a toned bikini body, we need to eat healthy nutritious foods. We should choose natural, fresh unprocessed foods wherever possible. Fresh fruit and vegetables, lean meat, fish or vegetarian protein options such as beans or tofu and healthy fat sourced from oily fish, olive oil and avocados are ideal for a healthy diet. Before we eat anything we should ask ourselves if the food has grown naturally in its present form. As we know many foods have been created in factories or laboratories. They have been chopped, reformed and processed so much that they are often not recognisable as the form it was initially. Has the food been dyed, bleached, fried or been disguised in a fatty additive filled sauce? If this is the case, we should avoid it and eat some real nutritious wholesome food instead.

2) Drink plenty of water

The more water we drink, the easier it will be to shed those excess pounds. Drinking more water has many benefits to our bodily functions. It helps our vital organs such as the kidneys, which flush out toxins, and the liver which metabolises stored fat within the body. Water also helps keep our skin stay fresh, supple and hydrated. Our aim should be to drink a minimum of 64 ounces of water per day, although in warm weather or if we workout daily, we can safely increase consumption as required.

3) Cardiovascular workouts

To achieve a great bikini body by summer, we have to commit to a daily cardio exercise regime. Cardio workouts are the best form of exercise to help boost our metabolism so that we burn more calories as well as fat. To begin with, we should try and workout for 30minutes per day, gradually increasing both the time and intensity as our strength increases. The best examples of good cardio workouts are brisk walking, running or jogging, cycling, aerobics, swimming, and elliptical cross trainer machines. Basically any brisk activity which makes our heart and lungs work harder are ideal cardio exercises, even salsa dancing can boost the heart rate.

4) Resistance training

Toning our body to make it look at its best in a bikini is vital and resistance training is an excellent way to tone our muscles for the best possible results. There are so many ways to shape and tone our body which include weight training for example. The best way to start and get expert help and advice would be for us to join a local gym or health club. Another option is to invest in some good DVDs, there are many good inexpensive ones to choose from which can help novices and the more experienced of us get in shape. Resistance training for a few sessions each week over several weeks can tone and reshape us for that perfect bikini body.

5) Keep motivated

We have to maintain our determination and motivation no matter what, and even if summer seems so far away, we have to remain focused on our goal. We need to keep focused on achieving that perfect bikini body now, no time to waste. Why not take a photo of how we look in a bikini at the moment and leave it in a position where we can see it daily to give us the inspiration to follow through with our ambition for a sexy new look?
