Generally speaking most nutrition philosophies recommend getting most of your carbohydrates from whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.

This seems like such a simple strategy, but it works. Some of the main culprits in people’s diets are sugar laden drinks, desserts, and so-called health foods that have just as much processed sugar as desserts. If you can eliminate or dramatically decrease your consumption of processed sugar, you will notice that your love handles will shrink.

Lastly, let’s talk about weight training. You don’t have to slave away in the gym for hours at a time. Two to three days a week is enough to add some lean muscle and support a healthy metabolism. Weight training is one of the best ways to keep your body burning fat through the day even when you are not working out.

For an added fat burning boost, do your weight training in circuit fashion. Move from one exercise to the next with little to no rest, and make sure that you focus on your entire body especially the legs.
