The following exercises have two key things in common. Firstly they are high intensity and secondly they’re all performed in sets with short breaks in between. They are a method of exercising called High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT).

Hill Sprints

Fast hill sprinting is a fantastic way to burn fat from those love handles. You can boost the effectiveness of this exercise by performing 10 push ups at the summit of the hill before jogging back to the foot and completing the exercise at least 4 times.

Burpees

Jumping Squats

This will challenge your endurance as they make heavy use of your largest muscle groups – your legs. It also helps strengthen the core area as it is needed to keep you balanced and braced for each jump. Another rarely mentioned benefit of this exercise is the improvement of your balance.

Ten Minute Love Handle Buster

This workout uses all of the exercises above to create an example ten minute High Intensity Interval Training workout you can do at home. Just performing this 3 times per week will demolish love handles like no other workout. You can adjust the workout up or down depending on your abilities.
